Lower the Bar Humor

This little gem is by Frank Crumit, circa 1927 I believe.
There are a few different versions of it but I like
this one the most, Frank puts some real angst into it.
This piece is a hundred years old at this point, please
forgive the rather dated and no longer used terminology
contained within, still a humorous performance…

Jeff Caldwell is a very funny fellow indeed.
He snarks with the best of them but he’s not
vicious, more of a playful stand-up comedian.
A smart comic to be sure, he’s a go-to on the
show when I want something clever-funny…

I’ve known that for years…sadly.
The Arrogant Worms with a lament for the ages.
When you think about it, it does make sense…

Ze Frank with an oldie but a goodie.
So many things to like about this one.
Poop!
A funny enough topic to be sure.
Combine that with an animal that can,
and is more than willing to, take it from
those that produce it and roll it home to
use it later.
Nature’s little garbage men!
Some great lines here…

Gallagher is one of the finest stand-up comedians
to ever grace a stage.
Some folks call him a prop comic but he is so much
more than that, his observational skills are top notch
and his ability to turn those observations into humor
are his real strengths.
And yeah, he smashes watermelons.
He gets flack for that, but if you had a Big Ass Mallet
you’d be smashing fruit right along with him.
So there!
This is a funny piece…
