Statistician’s Blues

Todd Snider with a cool little number about statistics.
He has a certain charm about him.
A great song writer, pretty good with a guitar as well.
His singing is unique, not a lot of range but he does
have style, and a great stage presence.
Clever as all hell…

Why Does Canada Love Coins So Much?

Ivan Decker with a witty overview of Canadian money.
They don’t have paper bills for the ones, or two dollar.
They have the “Loonie” and the “Toonie”, the Loonie
has a picture of a Loon on the front, hence the name.
The Toonie is also a metal coin, a two dollar one.
I fully expect Canada to do away with the ten dollar
bill and replace it with something the size of a dinner plate.
Don’t judge a country by its currency though, it’s a
beautiful place with awesome people, I love the place…

The Stoning

A superb clip from a classic flick!
Monty Python’s a Life of Brian is as good as it gets.
Extremely funny, immensely quotable, and as
irreverent as you can get before certain religious
types protest your very existence.
I make a funny, this movie was very controversial
when it was first released and it was indeed shunned
and heavily criticized by religious groups the world over.
People who never actually saw it complained the most.
This is an outstanding scene, so interesting in many
ways, especially the premise of men pretending to be
women pretending to be men.
One of the best comedy movies ever made…
