A Whimsical Story…

About Throwing a Baby.
This is a pretty funny piece by Tommy Johnagin.
My imagination got the best of me when I saw the
title, upon reading a bit further I realized that this
is not an Olympic event and using a drooler in the
Shot Put wouldn’t be allowed, usually.
Some great lines here…

Reach for the Top

A great parody of those local television programs
that spotlight the School vs School intelligence
competitions that seem to be so popular.
My school would have stumbled on a “What color
is a black hole?” inquiry.
I was voted “Most likely to stare into the Sun” by
my peers…

Doomsday Preppers

Kathleen Madigan with a sweet look at those
that have lost the will to live.
That’s what I think of the whole “! can’t cope
with the unknown, I’m gonna live in a bunker
in my back yard and eat Kibble until my neighbors
quit throwing rocks at my house!” crowd.
Maybe some day, when I’m really old and unable
to think clearly I’ll start hoarding and dress like a
drill instructor but until then I will embrace reality.
Well, most of it anyway…

Cousin Cupcake’s Got the Blues

An interesting piece by the Reverend Billy C Wirtz.
It showcases his more than capable skills in the
blues music genre, his singing ability and his
sense of humor.
I really wish he’d post his classic material, he’s
done some really great things over the years and
I’d kill to post a lot of that stuff…

I Know You are But What Am I?

From the 1985 Pee-Wee Herman flick, Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.
An interesting scene with Pee-Wee and his chief antagonist, Francis.
It’s all about the bike, a retro unit that just screams COOL.
Off-beat, compelling, and pretty dang humorous, I highly recommend
this strange little movie.
I’ve always been a Pee-Wee Herman fan…
