Babel Fish

A splendid little slice of a Douglas Adam’s classic.
This is from the original BBC Television 6-part
series that aired back in 1981.
I prefer this over the movie, but to be fair the
flick was not that bad at all.
I highly recommend the whole enchilada, whether
it be this series, the movie, the books or even the
radio plays from the mid 70’s…all good!
The late, great Mr. Adams deserves our respect for
creating those wonderful books.
Life, don’t talk to me about life…Douglas Adams
died while working out on a treadmill!

Spiderman

Dan Cummins with a piece of stand-up that I
can certainly agree with.
Spidey and his senses aren’t going to be piling
up the bad guys in the middle of Nebraska.
And if you think he was strikin’ out with the
babes in the big city, wait ’til you see him
getting slapped down by some mid west gals…

Washington Crosses the Delaware

It’s President’s Day, and let’s not kid ourselves, it’s all about
the best car deals and where to buy a decent mattress.
This piece ties a lot of that together.
It has George Washington, the father of our country and
first president.
And boat sales.
Superb voice acting by Stan Freberg and his cast.
