Big Jim Buchanan (aka: Paul Frees) with a splendid
tune about the root of all evil.
I wish that there was something about that last line
that was even slightly humorous, alas not.
Paul Frees was one of the best voice actors on the
planet at one time, a very iconic and powerful
speaker with talent to spare.
This is a great performance, lots of character here.
Not to mention the topic behind it all, the eventual
downfall of the human race may just be greed after
all is said and done…

Firesign Theatre was THE comedy troupe to watch/hear
during the 60’s and 70’s and beyond.
They were surreal, imaginative and really out there.
I love this spoof of late night television that they did
back in 1985, great imagery.
No longer with us, but they live on.
Gone but not forgotten…

Costaki Economopoulos (I can spell it without looking) is a
really good stand-up comedian.
Clever, witty, and wise are his strong suits.
I love to play him on the show, fits in quite well.
Some good lines here…

Bill Frenzer of Ogdel Edsl fame with a cool little tune
about a beloved pet and terrible plumbing.
Kinda.
It’s kind of heart warming actually.
Especially if you have no life of your own and you
live in your mom’s basement…

A splendid little snippet of a long favorite BBC
Television show of mine.
Red Dwarf is a comedy series set in the future
about a group of intergalactic miners who
suffer a catastrophic radiation mishap while
traversing the galaxy.
With the usual British cerebral approach to
comedy they really squeeze a ton of humor
from a sparse set and above average acting.
Really imaginative, interesting, and very
humorous is how I’d describe it if pushed.
