A Robbie Benoit classic.
A very interesting human being, the late, great
story teller was a Yukon miner, an award winning
dog breeder, a comedian, and a great all around
entertainer as well as many others things we
probably don’t know about.
Canada is full of characters like this, I cannot say
enough about what that country has produced
over the years in the way of performers.
I spent many years going to the Montreal Comedy
Festival and am in awe over what I’ve seen.
His was a compelling act, an every-man who
lives a little in all of us.
I can relate, I think you can as well…

John Wing is one of the better stand-up comedians
from Canada, and that’s saying a lot.
The Great White Nord produces top notch comics
and John is certainly no exception.
He’s got the snark down pat, and he is as bright as
they come, that’s a great combo especially if the
material is interesting.
Almost smug, he plays with it to great effect, but he
makes fun of himself even more than does others.
Here he is at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival doing
what he does best…

Better than being killed by a peanut.
Certainly a lot less embarrassing.
A fun fact, there has been only one
recorded incident where someone
was actually killed by a fallen palm orb.
A large clump of coconuts fell from a
tree, measuring out at about one
hundred pounds, and fell on a small
child and her mother.
