The first time I heard this piece I said “Classic!”.
Not out loud of course, I’m a bit touched but still
in full command of my faculties.
I cut this up into two separate tracks for the show.
The first half about the talking dog is superb, the
other half is equally as good in a different way.
Pete’s really good at conveying bewilderment and
using sarcasm for comedic effect.
A couple of low level naughty bits present, take the
necessary precautions…Cheez Whiz, large tarpaulins,
pink noise generators, and a bottle of high end, single
malt Scotch should do nicely.
That last one is for me.

I played this on the show this week.
Not a really funny tune, but the twist at the end
makes it humorous.
There are lessons to be learned here…

A really good effort on the part of Kurt Weitzmann to
make a radio oriented comedy sketch that is very funny.
A hostage negotiator with a hankering for the culinary…

Nick Griffin with a great comedic effort to warn people
off of the face clawing liquids that are everywhere.
I get seriously ramped up on orange pekoe tea, I’m not
going NEAR a can of that stuff!
Some good lines here…

Some really interesting stand-up comedy this week.
John Wing is really good, cerebral with a touch of snark.
Kurt Weitzmann with a great comedy sketch (a dying art).
I went with some tried and true blocks…everybody can
relate to family dysfunction…mental instability…Babies…
eating…the usual human conditions to poke fun at.
Constable Kant says “Hello!”
Kyle Kinane kills.
Henry Phillips can sing like an angel.
We have a Certified Guitar Player in the line-up tonight!
