YSaC: Brownies in a Mug

I had no idea there was such a thing.
I’m not really big on brownies, but I do like mugs.
A pretty humorous and informative offering, like
most of his work.
He does veer off a bit in the middle, he becomes
distraught over a microwave malfunction and beats
his assistant silly with a bag of stale marshmallows.
They tackle him, rip off his shoes and socks, and rub
his feet with cheese…calms him right down.
If it works for Jerome Horowitz it can work for anyone.
Next episode, pineapple upside-down cake in a shoe…

A Real Good Time

I really like this piece from Jim Stafford.
It puts a new wrinkle on an old “soured relationship” tradition
of writing the amorous capabilities of an ex-lover on a
bathroom wall/phone booth for all to see.
You know…”For a good time, call (your mother’s phone #)…
Lucille was having none of it…

Ancestry.com

Harland Williams is a pretty good stand-up comedian.
He gets airplay on the show, a lot of his material is
solid funny stuff.
He can be hit or miss, but I can still appreciate him for
being brave enough to try something new, if some stuff
fails so be it, he learns and moves on.
This is a goofy piece, he gets a bit over the top but it’s a
good bit, naughty in places, you’ll get over it…
