Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen with a
great cover of a Tex William’s 1947 hit.
Tex does a great job, I will post that soon enough, but
the Commander gives it a flavor that I’m in the mood for.
I smoked at one time, a horrible habit that was really
hard to give up, I can certainly relate to the lyrics…

This magnificent slice of humor is from one of the
funniest movies ever made, Monty Python’s 1979
masterpiece The Life of Brian.
To call it a classic would be understating it.
Palin as the respectful jailer is superb.
Idle, speech impediment and all, is wonderful.
Chapman plays a hapless Brian quite well.
Gilliam as the grotesque assistant to the jailer is
a sight to behold, as good as everyone else is in
this scene his character kills it big time.
George Harrison financed the flick and rumor
has it he’s in this part of the movie as an extra.
I think he’s just before Brian’s check in.
Follow it all the way to the end, great stuff…

Any Hendrickson is a very good stand-up comedian.
One of the better ones on the circuit for sure.
Hit material, timing and stage presence are spot on.
Some great lines here…
