The Elevator

If memory serves me correctly this album came out in the mid 60’s
by Radio Shack as a stereo test record.
It features sounds that slide from one speaker to another, mostly
in a humorous way.
I have a few of these in my collection but I am way too lazy right
now to confirm that.
Harkens back to the day when elevators were manned by a
certified operator, I can recall seeing a few way back when.
There’s always trouble in the complaint department…

Bonfire

I like to play this piece on the show during the Summer months
basically because I want to remind you fine folk that alcohol
and large fires seldom make a great combo.
Wait, scratch that…they actually go together quite well.
Not sure what I was thinking just then, sorry.
This bit is funny, that’s why I play it.
A few expletives contained within, if Grandma faints just
whack her a couple of times with a Wiffle Bat.
Some great lines here…

My Ding a Ling

A Chuck Berry Summer classic!
I first heard this when I was a boy.
That was many Ding a Ling clutching years ago.
Make of that what you will.
Watch out for those snapping turtles!
Seriously, that would ruin your day…
