Drinking Ireland

Kathleen Madigan working her magic once again.
She talks a bit about doctors, diets, and carn.
This is a pretty funny piece, punctuated by a
couple of profane words that my father used to
teach us when the lawn mower wouldn’t start.
I happen to like carn on the cab, just sayin’…

Comedy 101 Radio 8.5.21

The usual mid-Summer swimming/camping/cruising
type of show, if for no other reason than to assure the
masses that this pandemic will eventually go away.
A few decent blocks to make you chuckle.
I played some Kathleen Madigan material where she
swears a bit.
I need to pay more attention when programming my
tablet playlist, I edit the great ones down and leave
the originals in the same file, sometimes I get confused.
A sad yet humorous song by Ed’s Redeeming Qualities.
Bartles is Bartles.
A truly classic scene from the best Comedy troupe ever!
Kenny Young & the Eggplants with my favorite Summer
tune of all time.
Bruno and Ned seem to have a great relationship.
There is nobody home at The Toyes residence.

Soccer

The Simpsons with a pretty irreverent look at what
the rest of the world calls football.
When you think about what WE as Americans call
football…American football, the “ball” isn’t even a
ball and it rarely if ever comes in contact with a foot.
In soccer, it ALWAYS touches a foot, and it is indeed
a ball…round, bouncy and it rolls like a head fresh
off a guillotine.
Soccer is a world wide sport of immense popularity,
while American football is enjoyed by those who
drink heavily and are too out of shape to change the
damned channel.
That is my summation at least.
As usual the Simpsons view of something is pretty
spot on, this is right up there with the best of them…
