Homer (Henry D. Haynes) and Jethro (Kenneth C Burns)
were a huge draw on both television and radio all through
the 1940’s and 1960’s for their satirical fun poking of
popular songs of the time.
They were both really talented musicians who enjoyed
and appreciated jazz and the artists who played it.
An interesting pairing of guitar and mandolin they were
quite successful, they were inducted into the Country Music
Hall of Fame in 2001.
This is a tune they made famous back in 1959 when they
were given a Grammy for it…

Probably Just a Mountain Lion

I’m On Vacation
Rhett and Link with a classic Summer piece.
The visuals are pretty damned cool!
A great one…
No Vacation!

Vay-Kay-Shun
A funny piece of stand-up by Greg Warren.
He’s always funny, not a bad joke in the batch.
Some good lines here…
Bathing Suit Change Needed in 3…2…1…

The Reincarnation Song
Roy Zimmerman with a clever tune of death
and rebirth, mostly death to be fair though.
Some nice lines here…
Father of the Year!

Welcoming the New Sheriff
Clevon Little is the new sheriff in town!
This whole damned flick is hilarious, from the premise
to the execution, a classic in EVERY way.
Top ten all time best comedy movie ever.
If you are late to the party, the townspeople are not
aware that the new law enforcement man in town
is not really like them.
Written by Richard Pryor and Mel Brooks, with a
superb cast that defies description, a movie like no
other…some of the lines are absolutely magnificent.
I highly recommend it, a must see…
He Means Business!
