Bad Cop, No Doughnut!

Brian Regan with a really funny set on where he’s
worked and what he’s seen over the years.
He still has it, Brian’s been one of the funniest
stand-up comedians on the circuit for years now.
Master of the snark long before others thought to
take it up as a tool in their stand-up kit.
Self deprecating, not at all full of himself, he shows
some real humility in his approach to the audience.
One of the best ever, here’s proof…

I know I play a hell of a lot of Shel Silverstein on the show.
And I post about the same amount.
It’s very hard to avoid one of the most talented artists the
industry has ever seen.
Shel’s influence cannot be overstated…poet, cartoonist,
song writer, musician, and a whole lot of other things
that add to his legendary status.
Bob Gibson, a talented folk singer, and a friend of Shel
released a compilation of his tunes back in the 1990’s.
It is a staple on the show, many great cuts off that see
some serious air time.
I played this just recently.
He seems bitter towards the end… (hee-hee)

Corky & the Juice Pigs were a hoot when they were around.
They gave me a great interview and show ID, a decent bunch
of guys who were a lot of fun.
They are all doing different things now but their material
lives on, especially on the show.
Funny stuff this…

This is a pretty darned funny bit by Dan Cummins.
To say that this man is a little on the skeptical side
would be a bit of an understatement, when you
combine that with some top shelf snark you have
some really good stand-up comedy.
He lights it up here, some great lines…

Summer is NOT over…I repeat, Summer is NOT over!
Having said that, this is a decent little Summer tune
that combines two pretty popular activities.
Namely, cooking on the grill and whacking zombies.
The order is not important, you could probably do both
maybe even at the same time.
Offer one a foot long dog with all the fixin’s and as he’s
waiting for the mustard and chopped onions lop his
damned noggin!
Personally I’d have the decency to have a bite with the
cursed thing first, letting him enjoy a well cooked
burger and some corn on the cob before I removed
his head.
The Consortium of Genius with a Summer classic…
