He’s a bit on the dark side as well and that can make
for an interesting performance.
He suffers no fools gladly, that can be a good thing.
This is a nice one!
He reduces to ash those that refuse to understand.
It’s the willful ignorance that piddles in his punch bowl.
So to speak.
He savages the anti-science crowd quite deftly…

A classic piece of comedy by the immortal Bob Newhart.
Master of the one sided conservation, usually a phone
call, he made quite a name for himself in the early 60’s
for recording some chart topping comedy albums.
That was before he became REALLY famous for his top
rated television shows of the 70’s and 80’s.
Not many people have hit his level of stardom, for sure.
This is one of my favorites, give it a listen and you will see why…

I have posted this piece by John Mulaney before.
Being a very worthy piece of stand-up comedy I
think it’s time to do so again.
He makes a great point, cannot argue with the logic.
Admit it, you smiled when he said the word “midget”.
So did I, and I’m not sure why.
Some day I’ll have to do a decent “shrink” block…
