I Don’t Do Ups

The late, great John Pinette was a Hell of a
stand-up comedian.
I’ve seen him live and know what he could do.
This is a superb performance, he was animated
and really into it.
I play this exact same cut on the show, and it kills.
You are sorely missed, big guy, ya done good…

Peter the Meter Reader

The late, great Meri Wilson was well known for
cutting a novelty recording in 1976 that went
platinum called “Telephone Man”.
It was a light-hearted double entendre’ laden
song that was just cute enough to work.
So much so that she came out with this gem a
few years later.
I actually like this one better than the first.
It makes you smile.
Not to mention making you want to become a
meter reader…

Oyster Stew

This absolute classic piece of Stoogery is from a
1940’s Three Stooges short called Dutiful but Dumb.
The timing, facial expressions, and overall Curly
performance is as good as anything he’s ever done!
And THAT is saying a lot.
I can watch this masterpiece over and over again.
82 years ago and still laugh out loud hilarious.
Jerome Lester Horwitz you have my respect!
That bottle must have been a great year…

Bacon Skin Cancer

Kathleen Madigan with an overview on the types
of meat products that you can smear all over your
body to protect yourself from the sun’s harmful rays.
Kinda.
That’s too greasy, I prefer to cover my entire body
with farm animals that I can just attach with
duct tape and staples.
There are many reasons the authorities don’t like
me to go out alone…
