I’m Outta Here!

Kathleen Madigan is a real talent, her stand-up is top notch.
She is not full of herself, loves people as a rule and is as well
balanced as anyone out there.
Usually that would be the kiss of death, it is pretty unusual
to see a well rounded, mentally stable human being with no
discernible character flaws make it big in the stand-up world.
And there is no mistaken it, she is at the very top of the pile.
This is a great performance, timing and material are superb.
Some good lines here…

Green Jelly with a song of Grizzly defiance.
He did come over the mountain, not from
around here…could be a cultural issue.
Hanging with his pirate friends.
What could go wrong?

Who knew they were that delicious?
She found out the hard way.
Or would that be the SOFT way.
Either way it’s gonna slow her down…

Jim Gaffigan with a tale of ursine awe.
He was incredulous at first, then credulous,
battled with a touch of skepticism for a
while then caved and ate it all up with a spoon.
He waffled, wonder if he had any maple syrup.
Jim saw a bear, that’s the important thing here…

This was issued as a 45rpm single back in the day.
A tale of a severely depressed robot and the folks
who abuse him.
An integral, and very interesting part of the plot
Life, don’t talk to me about life…
