Coincidence? I Think Not!

This gem of a divorce tune is from a legendary
group of award winning country western stars
known as The Old Dogs.
They formed in the 1990’s…Mel Tillis, Bobby Bare,
Jerry Reed and Waylon Jennings went on tour and
did a bunch of Shel Silverstein songs much to the
delight of their fan base.
No longer together, some have passed on, others
started drooling and never looked back.
All of the above have one Hell of a backstory.
Here they are together, telling it like it is.
I believe they may have something in common here…

Rowan Atkinson with a great little parody on
getting a divorce.
This is actually really deep into the satire pool
as well.
Well done, no matter the approach.
Some great lines here…

Nick Griffin with some insights on relationships,
especially the ends.
He talks like a pro, let’s hope it’s not expert speak.
Some good lines here…

The Four Postmen with a rather quaint desire to
irritate knaves, harass damsels, and anger the
local authorities, as put to song.
And something about breathing fire…

From the Simpson’s 1997 Testify recording, a slice of
forlorn, with misgivings, Homer.
Losing himself in the soothing arms of country music.
Blame it all on Marge…
