Street Meat (You Keep Taunting Me)

I was walking on Main Street this afternoon when I smelled the
local restaurant grilling outdoors for a catered event in the
town square.
I have been a vegetarian for many years but there are certain
odors that bring back memories of pleasantly tasty proteins
that used to be an animal, and the smells emanating from the
sidewalk woke up a few of them.
This tune by Mike Phirman is a reflection of that flashback.
Jaunty, with a nice beat…

The Hostage

They do not make comedy sketches quite like this anymore.
Kurt Weitzmann with a superbly dark little piece about
eating right and multitasking on the phone.
Coincidentally I eat a salad every morning for breakfast
and I have never taken anyone hostage…

Weddings

This is a very funny piece by Jim Gaffigan.
He has really honed his act over the years.
His flow is much better, the material is a
bit more adult, and he seems more relaxed.
Some very funny lines here…
