A side splitting scene from a decent comedy flick.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels came out in 1988, it starred seasoned
actor Michael Caine and the great Steve Martin.
Not a bad pairing after all is said and done, the chemistry
seemed to be there, the different talents that the two brought
to the mix added to the overall experience.
I remember seeing this for the first time, it made me laugh out
loud hard, I still quote it to this day and smile like a fiend.
The two partners are trying to fleece wealthy women out of
their money by using various means of deception.
In this scene they pretend that Martin is mentally challenged
for reasons that are too convoluted to go into detail here.
I have always thought that Steve Martin was one of the most
talent physical actors out there, this is hilarious…

Jeff Caldwell is a great fallback comedian on the show.
If I need a laugh I know I can play him and it’s a given.
I wish he would put out some new material, I’m curious
as to how he is progressing.
He’s probably killing it on the circuit as I type this.
Kids are our future, we may be in trouble…

A classic Shel Silverstein tune as sung by his friend Bobby Bare.
This is a real treat, as wonderfully written as it is the singing is
what takes it to another level, top notch in every way.
Shel is no longer with us but Bobby is still around…

Rhett and Link with a back and forth that rivals
anything the gods have ever thrown at each other.
Okay, maybe a little hyperbole there but you get the idea.
It’s not like it would be a fair fight if the God of Thunder
decides to go all out with the God of Tissue Paper.
All he’d have to do is make it rain!
Ever see a God cry?
He’d be known as Old Spit Ball after that exchange.
The Gods are fickle, don’t get ’em cranked up…

In this case more of a fisticuff, as there was just the one.
And it didn’t belong to Tommy…
