Saw a Bear

This is one of the funniest Jim Gaffigan sets out there.
It’s all here…self deprecation, snark, wonderment, fear.
What more can you ask for in a chubby stand-up comedian?
Not being harsh, he knows it.
So did the bear…

Bad Idea

A song of regret and foreboding by J Chris Newberg.
He’s a humorous guy, a bit dark at times, but that
can certainly be a good thing.
A much wiser being than I once said “Will someone
please turn on a @#$%^&* light!”.
I’m not sure that pertains to this performance but it
is profound and plunking it right here seems like the
right thing to do.
Funny, I like some of his “bad ideas” better than his
good ones.
Life is like that…

Gourmet Firewood

Red Peters sent me an email a while back, out of the
blue with no prior back and forth, just to introduce
himself and announce his presence.
I, of course, had heard of him, lots of great material
over the years that I’ve played on the show.
He is a superb source of some classic comedy.
I love this piece, right up my alley.
Great imagery, heavy on the elite and all the snark
to go with it…
