What a Coincidence…I’m a Leaner!

From the early 1970’s National Lampoon recording, Radio Dinner.
A very cool parody of every damned television game show of that
time period, and if you listen closely it is quite the satire as well.
Did Ron boot another one because he’s a greedy figure looking
for a quick buck without having to work for it?
You be the judge…

An irreverent look at the above topics by Daniel Tosh.
This guy has reinvented irreverence, made it his own, and entertains
the Hell out of us with it.
Seriously, he has created a whole new genre of stand-up comedy.
You know he’s going way out there for a comedic twist on the
willing suspension of disbelief literary application.
A brilliant move in my humble opinion, apply a long hard rule that
lovers of Science Fiction, Horror, and fantasy have held dear for ages
to the world of stand-up and it really opens things up!
He can be dark, and he can be profane, and he is both here, but his
humor is top shelf and quite intelligent.
Some nice lines here…

Weird Al Yankovic with a classic original.
Sums up my week in a nutshell!
Animation by RWappin, an added bonus…
A totally absurd slice of the Brak Show where Dad
takes a job at the local ice cream shop.
Clarence, his co-worker, senses something is amiss.
All sorts of things are amiss actually, but that’s not
important right now.
Thundercleese does NOT get his beloved ice cream
and he gets pretty cheesed off.
Dad repels an armed robbery by shooting the ice cream.
Clarence gets a Melvin from Zorak.
A typical Brak episode all in all…
Cy Amundson with a great bit on kids sports.
A splendid display of sarcasm, wit, and resignation.
He’s a funny guy, his material is excellent and he is
getting better all the time.
Air ball…
As sung by the legendary Tom Lehrer.
From Copenhagen 1967, a seriously excellent live show
that to this day is held in very high esteem.
He was so far ahead of his time it’s almost scary.
As is the tune…
