Noel Paul Stookey was a member of famed folk singing
group Peter, Paul and Mary.
This man has amassed many well earned accolades over
the years for his ability to harmonize on a multitude of
classic pieces by that group.
I would never have guessed that he’d take up comedy
after a career like that but here he is.
More spoken word than stand-up, this is a great little
burst of mirth that tries to explain one of life’s mysteries…

A superbly funny little bit about flexing in all the
right places for all the right reasons.
And then sometimes you don’t.
He has his snark in the right place, he wields it like
a club at times, to great effect.
I’ve worked at fitness clubs and the visuals on this
one is quite accurate.
This has some great lines in it…

I don’t care if it is Monday.
I’m not even a beer drinker, more of a Scotch guy myself.

An actual commercial advertisement!
I have never done this before, but the humor level is
through the damned roof on this one.
The guy voicing this is a great fit for the role of
deranged pitch man, and the man who likes badgers
may have found his niche in advertising.
The inside jokes, irreverence, and parody levels here are
just wonderful.
I may even buy a belt…
