Good Weekend So Far…

This is a very well done piece by John Mulaney.
Superbly written and performed, it is a wry bit that lets him
call his wife a bovine animal for several minutes without
fear of retribution.
I have always liked John, he gets a lot of flack but he can be
hilarious, an above average stand-up comedian for sure.
Someone’s stealing milk here…

There’s something in the air.
Maybe all the hate from the presidential (yeah…right) candidates
is making me very annoyed, I haz the dark today!
Because they really suck…

From the 1997 Men in Black flick, Agent K and Agent
Rock Slapper meet up with a shady pawn shop owner
that has something to hide.
I realize that “shady pawn shop owner” is somewhat
redundant, but if I had said “Tony Shalhoub” it wouldn’t
have sounded right.
I want one of those flashy gizmos, I have an ex-girlfriend
I’d like to visit.
Does that make me a bad person?

A John Pinette classic.
His meat lament is something to behold.
He gets a bit profane, not his fault, it’s a
meat thing…

The late, great Bob Gibson released a recording of Shel Silverstein’s
tunes back in the 1990’s.
Shel helps out quite a bit, singing on several cuts.
Bob was considered to be one of the best folk singers of the 1960’s,
on par with Bob Dylan and Joan Baez.
This is a parody of the old beer commercials that had oodles of
sports stars all touting the old chant”Taste Great…Less Filling!”.
A classic for a few reasons…
