Rumor has it Gene Wilder agreed to fill in for an open role in the
Mel Brooks classic Blazing Saddles if he would consider doing a film on
an idea of his, that idea was the basis for Young Frankenstein.
Funny how that works!
Adding Marty Feldman as Igor was a stroke of genius.
Jump scare right to deep laughter, you don’t see that often…

I find very little to extol about leaving my youth behind me, but I
will embrace his viewpoints with glee…
