His shtick is irreverence and snark, he’s got it down to

This is a great set, shows what he can do…

1988 starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine as flim-flam
artists who cheat rich widows out of their money.
This is one of the funniest pieces I’ve ever seen in a movie.
Michael Caine is a very accomplished actor that knows what
he’s doing and does it well.
Steve Martin is one of the best physical comedians the planet
has ever seen, as good as he is with dialogue his body language
is off the charts when he’s on a roll.
Steve is pretending he is mentally challenged to get the rich
fiance to back out of the impending marriage with his older
brother Michael, in doing so they both reap a financial windfall
when the woman “buys out” the agreement for a wedding.
This piece made me laugh out loud more than once!
The premise is incredible, well written and wonderfully
executed, makes for a good time had by all.
Emperor Palpatine has a bit part as their butler, he’s standing
