He worked in the Yukon region of northern Canada as a miner
until he hurt himself in a fall.
He quit that line of work and somewhere down the line he
started to raise dogs, some he actually showed at the famous
Westminster Dog Show, and WON!
Hid Blue Ribbon winner was a Komondor, named Oscar.
He was quite the story teller and a recording he is very well
known for called Tall Yukon Tales was released in 2004.
