I was just thinking of The Beat Farmers this morning.
Country Dick Montana played drums and sang in that
deep voice he was known for, died of a heart attack
while doing a gig on New Year’s Day if I remember
correctly.
His voice really made this piece work, a contrast
that is quite appealing…
