That’s One Way at Looking at it…

In celebration of Mel Brooks and his 100th birthday, a scene from the 1968
classic The Producers.
The premise was to make a movie that would bomb at the box office, and
have a huge tax write off to profit from.
The plan failed, the movie was a success.
They thought the movie was so bad that nobody would see it.
They were wrong.
This is America, the worse something is, the more folks want to se it…

This superb piece of stand-up is by Cy Amundson.
As far as I can tell, he’s the best story-telling stand up comedian out there.
This is a great piece, comes with a few expletives, but they accent rather
than detract from the humor.
Great visuals…

Stan Freberg’s Presents the the United States of America Volume. 1 is a
classic piece of comedic history.
This recording has some of the VERY best voice actor work you will ever hear.
Daws Butler, June Foray, even Stan himself, not to mention several other top
notch artists have a role in this one of a kind release.
Highly recommended, a keeper for certain!
This will start the ball rolling…

Antsy McClain with a tune about being thrifty, and warm.
I summed it up a bit, it’s a little more complicated than that.
a pretty decent tune…

Tommy Ryman is not your typical love monkey.
But, as cardigan sweater wearing geeks go he ain’t bad.
I wouldn’t ask his wife though, it might be a touchy subject…
