A thoroughly splendid scene from the original BBC television series
of Douglas Adam’s classic The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
This was created back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, with six
half hour shows total.
I love this series, it is the best way to know the storyline if you haven’t
read the books.
I highly recommend it, lots of great content here, with a really cool
story line, and lots of humor.

He is a very talented musician, especially the fiddle.
He’s smart, charismatic, and quite humorous.
I love to play him on the show…

Kellen Erskine at his finest.
He has a low level snark that us quite compelling.
Combine that with being smart as a whip and you have a
great stand-up comedian.
Some nice lines here…

Harry Belafonte and Odetta with a novelty tune of sorts.
More than that though, it shows what chemistry can do
to enhance a performance.
It’s a fun piece, humorous, and classic…

The late, great Jerry Reed with a superb anti-smoking tune.
Irony, he smoked for many years, quit and twenty years later
he died of smoking related issues.
He was a special artist, one of only a very small group of
musicians to be considered a Certified Guitar Player by
Chet Atkins himself, his picking was in high demand when
he was a much heralded session musician.
Also starred in many a decent movie back in the 1970s.
