{"id":1171,"date":"2014-02-08T19:15:06","date_gmt":"2014-02-09T00:15:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=1171"},"modified":"2014-02-08T19:15:06","modified_gmt":"2014-02-09T00:15:06","slug":"its-twoo-its-twoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=1171","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Twoo, it&#8217;s Twoo&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Forty years ago one of the funniest movies ever created<br \/>\nhit the big screen&#8230;in 1974 Blazing Saddles was born!<br \/>\nMel Brooks and Richard Pryor co-wrote this classic comedy<br \/>\nand I cannot think of a more interesting pairing.<br \/>\nIt was ground breaking for MANY reasons, I could devote<br \/>\nan entire week of posts just describing the scenes in the<br \/>\nmovie that were one of a kind.<br \/>\nYou simply could NOT make a movie like this today.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ll show a few of these this week but I wanted to start<br \/>\noff with one that was the only part of the original script<br \/>\nthat was cut, not by the studio folks but by Mel Brooks<br \/>\nhimself, with some strong urging by his wife, Anne Bankcroft.<br \/>\nIn the final cut, when Madeline Kahn attempts to seduce<br \/>\nCleavon Little in the dark&#8230;she says &#8220;Is it twoo<br \/>\nwhat they say that you people are gifted&#8221;&#8230;loud zipper<br \/>\nsound&#8230;&#8221;It&#8217;s Twoo! it&#8217;s Twoo!
