I decided to mix it up a little this year.
\nIn the past I’ve played the heck out of the standard
\nholiday fare, which is mostly musical comedy by far.
\nThis throws the comedic food group ratio way off.
\nInstead of Stand-up, sketch and musical each towing
\na third of all that I play it was almost all musical.
\nI thought I would broaden the genre a bit by adding
\nsome shopping\/buying\/consumerism into the mix.
\nThat did open things up.
\nEspecially in the stand-up portion, that has always
\nstruggled with a paltry four or five good pieces to
\nplay, not many comedians have done holiday oriented
\nmaterial.
\nThis was a good show, lots of calls…<\/p>\n
