This is a great little animation from Ruth and Roger
\nWhiter about their late, great friend Tracy Thielen!
\nI knew Tracy through his band, Tracy and the
\nHindenburg Ground Crew, and some back and forth
\nwith emails up until his passing.
\nHe used to send me notices of when he would play
\nat certain gigs, and I always lamented to him that
\nI lived in New Hampshire and his performances were
\nalways in California…but keep sending them anyway!
\nI would announce it on the air, just in case someone
\nlistening would be flying out there for some reason
\nand find the time to hit the club.
\nHe was dark, very funny and immensely talented.
\nSome of his serious stuff is as good as anything I’ve
\nheard, from anyone.
\nThe good die young, as the saying goes.
\nA lament that never seems to go away…<\/p>\n
