\nupon typing that line!
\nPinkard and Bowden were a hot duo on the
\ncountry comedy circuit for a while not that
\nlong ago, parodies and original satire are
\ntheir claim to fame.
\nThey found their limelight in the 80’s and 90’s
\nwith some solid song writing for other, more
\nfamous country and western, acts as well as
\nrecording and performing a few of their own tunes.
\nThey were somewhat of an anomaly in that their
\nperformances were sometimes profane and adult in
\nnature, but still held their own with widespread
\nfan support.
\nRichard Bowden was in a band with Don Henley in
\nthe early 70’s and left due to creative differences.
\nRichard wanted to keep the band “Country” oriented
\nwhereas Don wanted more of a crossover sound to it.
\nI think you can see where this is going.
