{"id":35282,"date":"2021-07-24T20:24:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-25T01:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=35282"},"modified":"2021-07-24T20:24:00","modified_gmt":"2021-07-25T01:24:00","slug":"comedy-101-radio-7-22-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=35282","title":{"rendered":"Comedy 101 Radio 7.22.21"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A bit late on posting the playlist for this week&#8217;s show.<br>Both my arms fell off due to a rather nasty paper cut.<br>As such, my keyboard activities were curtailed.<br>Unable to type I spent my time driving the elderly to <br>bingo, buying them all ice cream along the way.<br>After a while I discovered that I had some bubble gum<br>and duct tape in the glove box.<br>Put the arms back, and at first I thought &#8220;Oh cool, I&#8217;m <br>left handed now!&#8221;.<br>If this should happen to you check for thumb positioning.<br>If you&#8217;re stuck in the &#8220;emperor thinks you suck&#8221; position<br>chances are you need to switch the arms around.<br>A decent show, I didn&#8217;t think it flowed well but I got some<br>compliments on the material.<br>Played a superb piece by the late, stupendous Stan Freberg<br>accompanied by the equally talented also late June Foray.<br>Peter Paul and Mary were known for their great folk songs<br>but there was another side to at least one of the members.<br>Who knew Noel Paul Stookey had a great sense of humor?<br>Happy Birthday to Haydyn!<br>The Arrogant Worms and Weird Al Yankovic heralded same.<br>Cars.<br>A little taste of the Olympics.<br>Meat.<br>Speaking of late, greats&#8230;Richard Jeni with one of his best.<br>Obesity.<br>Emo Philips at his best, a very well constructed piece.<br>And a prime example of what makes Daniel Tosh one of <br>the very best ever.<br>Onward and Upwards&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I Live Dangerous-  Riley Armstrong<br>Little Blue Riding Hood- Stan Freberg and June Foray<br>1st Date: Dinner &amp; a Movie- Maryellen Hooper (s-up)<br>The Happy Happy Birthday Song- The Arrogant Worms<br>The Asparagus- Noel Paul Stookey<br>Nascar- Adam Ferrara (s-up)<br>The NASCAR Song- Steve Goodie<br>Al&#8217;s Suspicious Cars- Laughing Hyena<br>Getting Older- Rodney Dangerfield (s-up)<br>Happy Birthday- Weird Al Yankovic<br>Bronx Brothers Book Review- Synaptic Anarchy Playhouse<br>Save the Whales- Tony Hendra<br>Flying- Tim Young (s-up)<br>She Makes Me Feel Big- The Fools<br>Ice Tennis- Harry Shearer<br>Bernard Shapiro- Richard Jeni (s-up)<br>Rub Some Bacon On It- Rhett and Link<br>Meat-O-Matic- The Late Show<br>I Call Ribs- Dan Cummins (s-up)<br>The Wean Scene- Don White<br>This Could Be the Day- Baldbox<br>Family- Anthony Griffith (s-up)<br>Spring Training- The Coalition of Unified Men<br>Sports on TV- Brian Regan (s-up)<br>The Baseball Song- Billy Dare and The Pumps<br>D.I.V.O.R.C.E.- Billy Connolly<br>2 Hot 4 U, Pt.
