{"id":462,"date":"2013-06-29T21:55:28","date_gmt":"2013-06-30T02:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=462"},"modified":"2013-06-29T22:02:05","modified_gmt":"2013-06-30T03:02:05","slug":"a-new-diet-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=462","title":{"rendered":"A new diet plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The late, great Richard Jeni was one hell of a comic.<br \/>\nI put him on my top ten list of best stand-up comedians<br \/>\nof all time, with only a very small, elite group above him.<br \/>\nI have all his recordings, the single American CD and the<br \/>\nfew Canadian compilation recordings he was on.<br \/>\nRichard was a huge favorite at the Montreal Comedy Festival.<br \/>\nHe headlined at various comedy clubs there, was a featured<br \/>\ncomic at the Galas and one of the few that were given a one man<br \/>\nshow.<br \/>\nI saw them all.<br \/>\nCount me as being a very early fan, I saw his gifts for humor<br \/>\nway back, when he was relatively unknown.<br \/>\nYes, BEFORE Platypus Man and that awful television show.<br \/>\nIt seems to me that the best comics have the worst TV shows.<br \/>\nCan we all agree on this?<br \/>\nThank you, I knew you would.<br \/>\nI consider many of his bits to be real classics&#8230;Jaws, Love Songs,<br \/>\nA Man&#8217;s Cooking Show, Shoe Store and lots more.<br \/>\nThis is a funny piece on losing weight, NSFW because of one word<br \/>\ntowards the end, but very humorous.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V7GnOyd_z1w\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Jeni, you will be missed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The late, great Richard Jeni was one hell of a comic.
