{"id":507,"date":"2013-07-15T00:07:40","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T05:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=507"},"modified":"2013-07-15T00:07:40","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T05:07:40","slug":"because-he-likes-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/comedy101radio.com\/?p=507","title":{"rendered":"Because he likes you&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am a long time fan of Don Novello.<br \/>\nHe acts, directs and does voice overs.<br \/>\nHe was in one of the Godfather movies and has done TV as well.<br \/>\nBorn in Ohio and a business school graduate, he worked as an ad-man<br \/>\nfor a few years before he started to think about a career change.<br \/>\nIn the early seventies he bought a second hand monsignor&#8217;s outfit at<br \/>\na thrift shop.<br \/>\nThat was a good thing.<br \/>\nIn the mid seventies he was known as Lazlo Toth.<br \/>\nIn the early eighties he produced one of my all time favorite TV shows.<br \/>\nIt starred John Candy, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin<br \/>\nand many more superb comedic talents.<br \/>\nDid I mention that he likes to dress up as a priest?<br \/>\nCould be worse, he might of had a cowboy fixation.<br \/>\nHere he is, doing a comedy piece that I have played on the show many times.<br \/>\nFGS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kO8x8eoU3L4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A classic!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a long time fan of Don Novello.
