Back in the day, when I first started the show, Da Yoopers were
the first comedy troupe I promoted heavily.
They sent me boxes of CDs of all of their better recordings, and
I went nuts giving them away to callers.
Not at all a flash in the pan, they have some pieces that are
certifiable classics, love to play it on the air.
This ain’t a classic by any means but it does show you their
mindset when writing a piece, usually a reference to a beer
swilling husband that takes the occasional day off to go
fishing or hunting is a staple.
