This is one great group, I stumbled onto this CD in the
mid nineties in a dusty old record shop right next to
Fenway Park in Boston, what a find.
Some of the best sketch comedy I’ve ever heard, very well
done with perfect audio and performances.

This is a great slice of stand-up by one of my favorite
comedians, Craig Campbell!
Born and raised in Canada, he moved to Europe a while back
to take part in many of the more famous comedy festivals
held around the world, and has done quite well for himself.
This is a piece that I love to play on the show…

Da Yoopers are an icon in the world of comedy.
Some of their classic material pokes fun at the holidays, Winter,
drinking beer and, of course, fishing.
Some great imagery here…

I have a soft spot for Harvey, some good humor there.
This one has some great sight gags in it.

A great piece of stand-up by the very funny James P. Connolly!
I like his style, laid back and a bit self deprecating, with
just a touch of bluster…

as sung by The Dyzmals!
Slightly off kilter lyrics and imaginative musicianship make
this an interesting tune. I played it on the show last week…

The backstory…
SCTV was a Canadian made television comedy show that became
successful, began airing in the states and to fulfill a rather
odd rule that at least a couple of minutes were to be devoted
to Canadian content, kinda forced into winging it and created
the two fake brother known as Bob and Doug McKenzie.
Essentially the rule was received poorly by Rick Moranis and
Dave Thomas, and they thought to use the opportunity to mock
the situation by portraying a couple of simpletons on the show.
Stereotypes that would be somewhat ridiculed, but things didn’t
turn out that way, much to their surprise it would become the
most popular part of the program.
Some of it was very funny, so much so that it spun off a movie,
which wasn’t half bad, and lots of merchandise to sell to folks
who like that sort of thing.

This is a very funny set by Christopher Titus!
I actually laughed out loud a couple times, for all the
wrong reasons of course, he’s good like that.
A seriously humorous piece of mirthiness…
