Fireworks Scene
In more way than one!
The Simpsons with a classic slice of 4th of July
celebration with just a touch of ridiculous.
Would we want it any other way?
Bart makes good for a change…
Stumpy’ll be Right With Ya
Fireworks Song
Rhett and Link with an Independence Day classic!
Well done all around.
These two have what it takes, highly recommended…
Safety or Danger…You Decide!
Command Decision
The last of the Stand Freberg pieces dealing with
the Revolutionary War and the start of America!
Old Wooden Teeth suffered from indecision.
Good thing his support staff was there for him.
This is really funny stuff, top of the comedic heap…
Mittens Digs the Parades
Fireworks in Tennessee
The late, great Tim Wilson with some stand-up
perfect for the occasion!
I myself have many tales of Fireworks Insanity.
I used to sell them, black market style, to a
rather large list of clients that I built up
over several years.
I knew all of the different types of rockets,
firecrackers, ground displays, floral comets,
and the rest.
My displays were legendary.
If I had a nickle for every time I got babies
to cry, women to shriek, and guys to hit the
ground and cover their heads I’d be a very
wealthy man today.
Fun times indeed…
On This Day in History
Yeardly Smith was born back in 1963!
The voice of Lisa Simpson, she gets my nod
as one of the most influential characters in cartoon history.
A top notch intellect in a sea of Doofuses would be an apt
assessment of her role on the show.
Happy Birthday Yeardley Smith, may there be many more!
A little more Lisa Simpson tomorrow…
Do Not Try This at Home
Homer and Apu make a great team on July 4th!
All in the spirit of Protecting Freedom.
Those dishes weren’t free.
They did kind of die for the cause though.
Hey, I’ll stretch a joke as loooong as I have to.
Homer protected the beer, that’s important…
