This is a cool little clip from the underrated 2011 flick Rango.
It has a ton of very interesting moments, more adult
jokes than you can shake a lizard at, and a cast of
misanthropes that will have you riveted to your bar stool.
I’m not usually a Johnny Depp fan but his acting in this is
deserving of an award of some kind.
Darwin perhaps?

when you have to go with whom you have.
He’s clever, he does creepy really well, which is cool
because he’s not MY next door neighbor, and his
subject matter is well thought out and quite unique.

Based loosely on a true story, Ed’s Redeeming Qualities
with a chilling tale of parental abuse and drunken debauchery.
No, not really, it’s basically a song of overreaction and
common sense when it comes to consumer products.
Apparently a few years back a little girl was seriously injured
when an errant lawn dart struck her, this brought about serious
changes in some product safety laws, with the ban on the
aforementioned lawn projectile being the result.
It was actually a pretty fun game, kind of a variation on
horse shoes and pub darts…

And an added bonus, the Eric the Half a Bee song!
This is one of the very first Monty Python sketches
I heard, it showed me the depths that they would go
to for a great cerebral laugh.
Some serious thinking went into this piece, firmly
grounded in British humor of course.
As good as John Cleese is in this bit, the restrained
stoicism of Michael Palin is just fantastic.
A lesson in comedy skits from the masters…
