The Reverend Billy C Wirtz with a tune of culinary woe.
He has regrets, that much is clear.
And a touch of gas, probably…

Get Down…and Stay Down!

Morning Rounds
Mike Nichols and Elaine May released this superb
comedy sketch in 1962 and it’s just as funny today
as it was almost sixty years ago.
They were way ahead of their time, some of the best
skit material ever created, it deserves the airplay.
The IV seems to be missing…

…Or Else It’s a Boy!
Robert (Bob, to his friends) Dubac is a stand-up
comedian whose material deals with relationships.
With an accent on that mysterious creature of the
opposite sex commonly known as a woman.
I’m glad he has them figured out because I haven’t
got a freakin’ clue.
He takes the high road, with a cerebral approach
and a touch of respect Bob tries to explain how and
why they are different from us guys.
As one might expect there is much comedic material
to be extracted here.
This is a good bit…

Beware the Ides of March

Little Tunnel
I have no idea what this little gem from Eugene Chadbourne
is all about but I’m playing it on the show.
The lyrics are cool, the musicianship superb, and the
sense of humor sublime.
Eugene is a true eccentric and I can certainly appreciate that.
Should be more like him on the planet.
Now that I think about it, I’d like a little tunnel as well.
A fortress of solitude if you will, camouflage the entrance
and I’m in…
Kibbles Jar…Iz Trapped!

Modified Ramen
A particularly vibrant episode of YSAC complete with
anti-roommate overtones and all the resentful humor
that goes with it.
He has lived the college experience and survived to tell
the tale.
Some great ideas here, I’m not a huge Ramen Noodle fan
myself but I can understand why people would eat it.
Broke, not a cent in the bank, nothing in the couch
cushions either, you spent all you had on cheap beer
for last nights party and the only change you can find is
at the bottom of the recently installed “Please give Jack a
new liver!” wishing well at the local Walmart.
Which is really convenient, while you’re there you can
go through the dumpster right outside the produce section
for the other things you’ll need for ingredients.
Lest you think I’m a cad, “Jack” is the Walmart Auto Care
manager, he’s 57 and he drinks like it’s illegal to be sober.
Besides, when I’m 57 and the Auto Care manager at Wally
World and It’s MY turn for desperate life saving methods
I will understand.
Really, I will…
