Rhett and Link with a pretty funny sketch
about making sure your complaint is real.
Kinda.
It’s starts a bit smarmy but it has a great flow
and the humor is right up there with the best
of Rhett and Link.
I really like Nora!
She is on the BALL…

Do I Look Like a Botanist?!

Cy Amundson absolutely nails one of the things
that’s wrong with Social Media.
He’s a very smart comedian, one of the best on
the circuit, a storyteller with a knack for solid,
irrefutable snark that hits hard.
He makes a great point…

I Hate People
Because They Really Suck!
His words, not mine, but I do get it.
Gus and the Snowmen, aka Jim Riffel,
with a jaded, but not inaccurate, look at
life in general.
He states his case with style…

You Suck at Cooking: French Toast
YSAC with a yummy recipe for toast that is
eaten by French people everywhere.
Probably about as much as Italian people
who eat pizza, and Chinese folks who nibble
on fortune cookies, and Scottish gits who
wolf down Haggis.
We Americans have a tendency of creating a
fast food, with barely any nutritional value
whatsoever, and then assigning a country of
origin to it, probably for purposes of
deflecting blame once it’s discovered that it
doesn’t really qualify as an edible to begin with.
French Toast is essentially cooked bread, loads
of maple syrup, and lots of profanity.
My mother swore an awful lot when cooking
this stuff, not sure why, probably had to do
with the flames, smoke and third degree burns.
My mother was not a great cook.
This guy is, that’s what’s important…
C’est Bon!

Acting and Terrorist Groups
Ahmed Ahmed was the founder and original member
of the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour that first launched
back in 2005.
A truly impressive set of comedians, put together to
combat the stereotypes and prejudice of a post 9-11
America.
They were either the offspring of people that were
from the middle east that settled down in the United
States, or were themselves from that part of the
world and became naturalized American citizens.
I play this particular piece on the show, it’s funny and it
informs the listener as to what the comedians experience
living in American as middle-easterners.
Funny and informative, gotta love it…
