One Leg Too Few

A superb comedy sketch by two of the very best
to ever play the game.
The late, greats Dudley Moore and Peter Cook are
fully ensconced in the comedy sketch hall of fame.
They were an inspiration for Monty Python and a
myriad of other comedy troupes over the years.
This particular skit has a line in it that just might be
one of the best ever written for a comedy bit.
A superb line of epic proportions, subtle yet perfect.
The premise is simple, with the application of
high-end British humor you have a classic.
Where the Hell is Jane?!

Hillbilly Hare: Square Dance

I grew up with Bugs Bunny and I declare it to be the
top of the comedic cartoon heap.
The group of supremely talented folk who produced
this material never meant for it to be a children’s
animation, it was made in their spare time as an adult
diversion, for their eyes only really.
Termite Terrace was the building, Warner Brothers was
the studio, Tex Avery, Robert Clampett, Chuck Jones
and a few others were the artists.
This superb slice of Bugs Bunny getting his just revenge
is a hilarious example of the material they produced.
The word play and execution is wonderful, add to that
Mel Blanc, the old master himself, as the voice of Bugs
and you have some serious funny happening here.
A cross dressing rabbit, a couple of old school country
hicks, and a hoedown!
I laughed out loud…

True Facts: Trap Jaw Ants

Ze Frank with a really interesting, and humorous, look
at that which would scare the living Hell out of me if
it were the size of a dog.
Yes, I have a very vivid imagination and am as cowardly
as they come, admittedly not a very good combination.
Mr. Frank is the Jacques Cousteau of japery, the Carl
Sagan of snark, the Clair Patterson of puns…he’s a
teacher with a superb sense of humor and the world
is better for it.
Now about that scary beastie with the malevolent
mandible…
