It’s after Memorial Day, I am officially pining for Summer,
the beach, sand between my toes, and the smell of a warm kayak.
Seriously…wants it…no delays.
The Surf Punks with a tune about all those things, and more.
The visuals, even with the bird poop, are enough to make me drool…

And NO Standing “O”s!

Crunchy Frog
Otherwise known as the “Trade Description Act” sketch.
A Monty Python classic from their 1976 “Live at the City
Center” recording.
The constable’s name changes from time to time but the
skit structure is a consistent source of chuckles.
When I hear this piece I think of the late, great Terry Jones.
This skit is what makes Monty Python so special, it’s off
the wall, very creative, dark and slightly insane.
That happens to be exactly what was printed under my
picture in my high school yearbook…
A Little Kermit Meme…

Dangerous Things Our Parents Let Us Do
John Heffron with some childhood reflection.
My parental units were always working, I played out side
from sunrise to sunset, January to December, breaking
only for certain holidays.
I enjoyed myself immensely.
Please don’t tell anyone…
All of Six Seconds…

I Didn’t Know the Gun Was Loaded
An oldie with some real charm to it.
Mr’s Hank Fort with a sassy defense of her
approach to pushy men.
From 1949, Don’t mess with Eleanor…
Irreverent but Real

The Cheesecake Truck
King Missile with a classic tune of obesity, diabetes and cake.
Not necessarily in that order.
They make it sound so yummy, but have you ever eaten that
much cheesecake before?!
Yeah, it may seem like a cool thing to do, if you eat that many
you’ll be swearing off sweets for good!
Until the next time the truck comes around…
“Mad Dog” Mattis is a Cheeser!
