Dubai

Ahmed Ahmed was one of the original members
of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour that toured in 2005.
The premise was all of the comedians were either
born in the middle east or were offspring of people
that were…spotlighting the humanity of it all.
They were great for easing people’s anxieties on
folks from the middle east, showing them in a more
positive, realistic light.
Some very funny comedians were part of the mix,
Ahmed Ahmed being one of them.
A good set all in all…

Clown College

A rather funny slice of a Simpson’s episode that
spotlights my career choice early in life.
Right after “ice cream truck driver” and just before
“astronaut” in the scheme of things for job choices.
Funny how things work, after agonizing what to be
in life I chose something with job security and
benefits that would ensure a more secure future.
Who knew “bearded lady” would pay so well?
There really is a clown college, seriously.
I’m pretty sure it doesn’t look like this one…

Weird Traditions

Costaki Economopoulos is a pretty talented stand-up comedian.
He is as good as it gets…great material and timing, knows how
to captivate an audience, and is a very intelligent human being.
Not to mention humorous as all hell.
He pontificates on what certain people and societies embrace.
Some great line here…

Pop Song

Jon Lajoie with a pretty nifty ditty about
advertising/product placement and
the ongoing need to survive.
In a nutshell, you have to sell yourself
to make ends meet.
Not a bad effort at all, pretty cool actually.
A very well done video all in all…
