Gotta Love the Zoo

A wonderful little diatribe from the late, great
Robbie Benoit.
His was a very interesting life…started in the
Yukon working in the mines, left their to work
with show dogs, eventually winning a blue ribbon
at the Westminster Dog Show with his Komondor,
named Oscar.
He was diagnosed with cancer but continued on
with yet another facet of his career, performing live
reciting stories like this one.
He released a recording called Tall Yukon Tales
in 2004.
Robbie passed away in 2007, he will be missed.
I can relate…

And they bothered the late, great John Pinette as well.
I do miss him, I had been following his career closely,
having been at the CD Release Party at the Montreal
Comedy Festival back in the 90’s and loving every
minute of it.
He went on to be one beloved stand-up comedian.
You don’t truly die until folks stop thinking about you.
I play the material, you do the laughing, they stay alive.
That is how this works.
Some great lines here…(pun intended)

A classic piece of dark comedy by our friends
from The Great White Nord.
I love these guys, a very harmonious group
with a heck of a sense of humor.
You almost feel sorry for Billy.
Almost.
His dad’s a knob…

The Frantics with a great comedy sketch on why
the Big Guy is a bit on the fickle side.
When you are the Big Kahuna you get to call
all of the shots.
Smart comedy at its best…

Tommy Johnagin with a humorous look at naughty bits.
Kinda.
He’s a funny guy, when his timing is spot on he’s quite
the stand-up comedian.
Some nice lines here…
