Another great effort from Greg Warren.
This is off of his newest recording “Where the
Field Corn Grows”.
This is a funny bit, he has developed a great act
by combining self deprecation, bewilderment,
and some seriously dangerous snark.
Boy, does he make it work for him!

Canada has produced some fine comedy over the years and
these folks are the top of the heap…

brawn than brains.

Michael Somerville does not use his hands.
That has got to be awkward in the bathroom.
Probably has a lot of tarps on the floor.
Well, if you never use them you don’t have to
wash them.
He may be on to something…

As done by the talented Heywood Banks.
I interviewed Heywood back in the early oughts and he was a
hoot and a half.
He started off as a folk singer of sorts, discovering that he got
a lot of laughs with his between song banter made him change
his approach to the craft, he became a comedian.
And a damned good one.
His lyrics are humorous, as is his stage presence, the combo is
what sets him apart from his peers.
I know of no other artist that has written and performed a song
about his mom’s over the shoulder boulder holder…
