He makes a great point…

The late, great Allan Sherman was a very talented man.
Primarily a comedian but he was much more than that.
A pretty decent performer, he was a major act in the 1960’s
and some of his material is considered classic.
I like to play this one on the show, fits in nicely…

Rango is the type of movie that is more entertaining the smarter you are.
It drops names and events at a pretty good clip, the more aware you might
happen to be adds to the overall enjoyment of the experience.
The characters themselves are as different as anything out there.
Well written and wonderfully animated with lots of adult references.
Get a load of the duffer with the arrow!

I cannot say enough about Greg Warren’s newest recording
“Where the Field Corn Grows”.
It’s a great listen. some really funny material there.
He has an act like no other, his shtick suits him just fine.
A little insecure, a bit flustered, some self deprecation, all
make for a really good stand-up comedian.
This set has some great lines…

There are some damned funny people in Australia.
When the show was on the web my fourth largest
market was Australia/New Zealand.
They have since developed the comedy festivals in
those countries to rival Edinburgh and Montreal
for sheer talent and promotion.
I had a ton of comedy given to me from artists out
of that area, and I play a lot of it on the show.
Most of it is pretty profane, I needed to do a lot
of editing to get it past the judges (chuckle).
This guy, Kevin Bloody Wilson, is considered to be
one of the funniest of the lot, and the dirtiest.
I have a ton of his material, I can only play about
one percent of it on the show, stuff that would
make your grandparents have the vapors are
the main cause of that.
