A pretty funny set on trying to recover from being dumped
and why joining a monastery is probably not a good idea.
I still say going back to the very old days would be ideal.
I want a beautiful woman to grab me by the hair, beat me
with a club. drag me back to her cave and have her way with me.
Does that make me a bad person?

Probably Not a Second Time…

Leaf Blower
The Asylum Street Spankers with a tune steeped in
annoyance, rage, and lots of leaves.
These folks were the rage before they disbanded a
few years back, musical talent and a keen sense of
humor to spare.
One naughty bit towards the end, I’m sure you’ve
heard your grandma say it when she tried to start
the tractor…
That Means You, Leaf Blower!

YSaC: 12 Ways to Peel a Potato
A humorous look at preparing your tuber for the end of its life.
Pretty much.
This is a fascinating watch even after he loses it and starts
shooting at the poor defenseless spuds with a 357.
“Death to the Russets!” will be carved on his tombstone…

When Your Spouse Stays Home
Juston McKinney with a humorous look at a stay at home wife.
He’s a great stand-up comedian, low level snark that is
deceptively effective, and an insight that is quite refreshing.

On the Shoulders of Freaks
Henry Phillips started off as a serious folk singer.
He realized after several gigs that he received a
lot of applause and laughter when he bantered
with the audience a bit between each song.
He shifted his focus to doing novelty tunes, a
logical move all things considered.
He never looked back.
His voice is excellent, a very pure sound that is
much better than average.
I played this on the show recently, and it really
shows his vocal range, a damned good singer
by any measure.
It’s funny, and quite true after all is said and done…
You Got It, AL!
