This is a real treat!
Officially, this piece is THE most sought after
recording on my Wish List.
I did eventually find it but it took me well over
twenty years to do so, and even then in a very
round about way.
I had a bootleg of this gem but it didn’t sound
very good and I hate using boots on the show
so I thought I’d try to find a good copy of it.
Almost twenty five years later and I got it from
a really cool blogger from Australia!
Mr. Weird and Wacky I owe you big time!
The band is named Farquahr, they were a
great bar/club band in the New England area in
the 60’s and 70’s.
They are long gone, but this classic stuff will live
on as long as my grubby little fingers can push
the play button on my go-to tablet.
I was using an iPad but had to shift to an Acer
unit due to editing and syncing issues.
The lyrics are well written, performance is divine,
and the vibe is just wonderful.
